Mindful care for folks with bodies.

Our relationship with our bodies is complex and shaped by physical, psychological, social, and spiritual experiences. My goal is to help you observe, hold space for, and celebrate your body.

Gender-Affirming Bodywork:

Bodywork offers a unique, somatic lens through which to observe and, ultimately, hold space for our bodies.

It is a holistic approach to enhancing proprioception, the body's ability to perceive itself in space. This stronger perception offers a deeper connection between the body and its surroundings.

Scar Work:

For some folks who have had gender-affirming surgeries, scar tissue massage can be an important step in nurturing a loving relationship with their body. Scar work sessions can be tailored to address the unique needs of transgender and non-binary individuals, providing a safe and supportive space for healing and empowerment.

With regular scar work, many clients find results involving:

Improved Mobility: Scar work helps improve the flexibility and range of motion around scarred areas. Many people find this helpful for lower abdominal or top surgery scar tissue.

Reduced Discomfort: Many find that massage alleviates discomfort and pain on scars and surrounding areas.

Enhanced Appearance: Some clients report their scars begin to fade. Tho this is not the goal of scar tissue work, it can contribute to a sense of physical and mental healing.

Joy & Celebration: Show your scars some love! This area of your body has gone through a lot of medical poking and prodding. It’s time to make peace with the area, show it some care, and celebrate your beautiful body!
