Max Green (they/them) has dedicated the last decade to the study & practice of massage. They attended massage school in 2014 at Cortiva Institute for Massage Therapy, with advanced study in PTSD management and nervous system regulation. Upon graduating, Max’s focus shifted to sports massage. With a private office in the New Balance headquarters, their client list included Olympic gold medalists, UFC fighters, and Patriots players.

Max became oncology massage certified by the renowned Tracy Walton, founder of the field of Oncology Massage. This certification has allowed them to bring comfort and support to clients in both home and hospice settings.

In 2017, Max's journey took them to Nepal, where they trained with Anup Panthi, one of the world's top sound healing specialists. While living in Nepal, Max worked with local grassroots organizations to develop a comprehensive Massage Therapist job training program for blind students coming from all over the country. Outside of the classroom, they provided on-call massage therapy to injured and weary mountaineers throughout the Annapurna and Everest regions.

In 2018, Max settled in Vermont, bringing with them a world of experience and expertise in massage therapy. Here, they established their private practice, offering a wide range of specialized massage techniques to cater to each client's unique needs. As a Vipassana meditation practitioner, Max infuses a sense of mindfulness and serenity into each session, ensuring you leave feeling truly centered.

At Max Green Massage Therapy, inclusivity is a cornerstone of care. As a non-binary therapist with a trans-friendly office, every individual can feel comfortable and welcome throughout their healing journey.

With a new office in South Burlington, VT, Max is excited to welcome you to their healing table!
